FAKE NEWS

A sell-out show at the 2019 Edinburgh Fringe, and listed as a Must-See by The Guardian & Telegraph, Fake News is the story of our time from journalist turned actor & playwright Osman Baig.

A budding young journalist lands a dream internship at the country’s biggest online news organization. There, he stumbles on an earth-shattering story and – against better judgement – decides to click publish.

There’s just one problem: the story is completely untrue.

Whatever you think about the news or those who make it, prepare to think again – in this one-man show that will force you to ask if there really is such a thing as bad publicity.

"Indubitably good news”

Shakespeare for Kids

'Shakespeare for Kids' was created each year by Oliver to compliment and introduce 'Shakepeare in the Garden' to younger audiences. These plays were developed as fun & educational (with a small 'e') introductions to Shakespeare. Using Oliver's extensive experience of delivering Shakespeare to school aged children with The Globe Players, these productions proved popular with kids and adults alike.

‘Sometimes the language can be a hindrance to a Shakespearean play (especially for younger viewers), making it seem stuffy and unrelatable, however, the cast brings it to life effortlessly in a way that both transcends the language AND embraces it’ – Audience member
